Driving from Dublin Airport

From Dublin Airport take M1 southbound, turning immediately onto M50 southbound (Junction 1).
Take exit signposted for M7/N7 in direction of Limerick.
Continue heading southwest on M7/N7 to Mountrath.

Driving from Shannon Airport

From Shannon Airport take N19 to join N18 in direction of Limerick.
At Limerick follow signs for N7 in direction of Dublin and continue northeast on N7 to Mountrath.
Drive through Mountrath village and follow the signpost to Kinitty.( see point three on directions below)

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS COMING FROM DUBLIN ON THE N7

• Follow the N7 (Limerick Road) to Mountrath.
• Just before Mountrath the road takes a sharp bend to the left. There is a traffic light. At this crossroad you take a right.
• After about 200m there is a turn to the left. Follow that turn. (The signpost says Kinitty).
• Follow that road for approximately 3 miles. (On your way you will pass a pub on your right (HOGANS), the live stock market on your left. After those landmarks the road takes a bend to the right and a bend to the left.)
• After the left bend the road takes a sharp bend to the right. You should see a two-story house in front of you at that point. Follow the main road, which turns right.
• About 400m after that bend, you should see a little white cottage and a turn to the right. Be careful it can be easily overlooked and you will end up on the mountain road to Kinitty.
• Take that road for about 1.mile.
• After that the road makes a slight turn to the left with a slight increase in the road you should see a big stonewall with a big red iron gate. There is a green old post box set into the wall.
